  • Westbrook (knee) to miss 4-6 weeks of season

Russell Westbrook will miss the first 4-6 weeks of the season after having arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday to alleviate swelling in his right knee.
The swelling, which Scott Brooks first mentioned last week, was reportedly caused by a loose stitch from his first surgery last April. The Thunder begin their season on Oct. 30, so even if WB returns in four weeks he'd miss a minimum of 12 games to start the season (or 21 games if he's out six weeks).
